IDUN’s Privacy Policy for Mobile Applications

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how we process your data at IDUN Technologies AG. From now on, we’ll call it the ‘Policy’. It applies to your use of:

  • IDUN Guardian mobile application for iOS
  • IDUN Guardian mobile application for Android

This Policy is not the IDUN Terms of Use, License Agreement or Purchase Agreement (“Agreement”) for the use of the IDUN Guardian, which are separate documents. The Agreement outlines the legal contract between the Customer of the IDUN Guardian and IDUN Technologies AG (“IDUN”) for using the IDUN Guardian. It is important to understand that the IDUN Guardian Customer is most likely a legal entity and the user is a natural person associated with IDUN’s Customer. This Policy is addressed to the user of the IDUN Guardian Mobile App and describes how IDUN processes their personal information. Please note that once you share your personal information with another company (such as IDUN’s Customer) the information received by the other company is controlled by that company and becomes subject to the other company’s privacy practices.

2. Definition of personal data

Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable living individual. Different pieces of information, which collected together can lead to the identification of a particular person, also constitute personal data. Personal data that has been de-identified, encrypted or pseudonymized but can be used to re-identify a person remains personal data. Personal data collected in anonymous form, or that has been rendered anonymous in such a way that the individual is not or no longer identifiable is no longer considered personal data.

3. About the data we collect

IDUN collects, processes and stores only anonymized data from the IDUN Guardian. We use this data to improve our services by developing new classifiers, improving existing classifiers, measuring trends, grouping data and benchmarking against single anonymous data sets, and for other internal uses. The anonymized data has no retention period, and we intend to store it for long time.

We do NOT collect any other personal data about you. We do NOT collect, process or store your name and surname, email address, home address, phone number, location data, IP address, cookie ID, the advertising identifier of your phone or any other personal data or pieces of information which make you identifiable. Therefore, we do not share any personal data with any third party. Additionally, we don’t have a data retention policy for personal data because we do not collect, process or store any personal data.

4. Keeping your data safe

We’re committed to protecting our users’ data collected with the IDUN Guardian. We put in place appropriate technical and organizational measures to help protect the security of your IDUN Guardian data. However, be aware that no system is ever completely secure.

5. Changes to this Policy

We may occasionally make changes to this Policy. When we make material changes to this Policy, we’ll provide you with prominent notice as appropriate under the circumstances. For example, we may display a prominent notice within the IDUN Guardian Mobile App or send our IDUN Guardian Customers an email or device notification.
