Putting On the IDUN Guardian
Before putting on the Guardian
Users should clean their ears with a dry cotton bud to ensure earwax does not impede the signal quality of the recordings.
Putting on the Guardian
- The device should be worn on the back of the head with the Brainbox located at the top of the neck.
-
The black Earhooks should loop around the top of the ear, and the foremost part of the hook should rest in the outer ear such that it feels comfortable and stable. Using the help of a mirror is suggested as it can facilitate adjustments of each component.
-
The hooks are flexible and can be adjusted in the necessary direction to improve comfort and stability. The hooks should be adjusted once you are wearing the headband.
-
The user should use their fingers to press along the length and curve of the hook to fit it around and inside their ear. Behind the ear, the user can also adjust the curvature of the hook so it matches the shape of the user’s head. Please see Customizing the Earhooks for more detail.

The Earpieces should then be inserted into your ear and should feel like you are wearing a simple pair of earphones.
The Earpieces should be inserted with the cable connection point facing upward so that the tension on the cables is reduced.
